PRIVACY POLICY

Please be assured, the confidentiality and privacy of our clients and customers is of the utmost importance to Brian Hill Fine Art. We do not share any personal data we collect from suppliers, web sites, or customers with any other parties for any reason (except where detailed below for the purpose of conducting our business, or if required by Police in respect of a criminal investigation) and we are fully committed to meeting both the letter and the spirit of the Data Protection Act 1998, GDPR, and other relevant legislation. By using any of our Services, you consent to the collection, use, processing, and sharing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

 

Information Collection

We collect information from you when you place an order, subscribe to a newsletter, or enter information on our site. If you make a purchase on our website then we will take your name, address, email address, and telephone number. Payment card details are handled securely by our payment processor – we have no access to your payment card details in this case. We do not collect your IP address when browsing, but our payment processor may do so if you make a purchase. We do not have access to this information.

 

Where a purchase has been carried out over the telephone, we will take your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, and payment card details. Once your purchase has been processed and is complete, we will then securely destroy your card details immediately. We will retain your contact information and order details. However, we will not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to.

 

How do we use your personal information?

We use personal information to improve or services, provide support, communicate with you, and to process orders. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your name, email address, mailing address or other details to help you with your experience.

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfil any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

– Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
– When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, communicate to you information or advertising relating to our products or services, or technical support.

We may share your Personal Information with payment processors for example Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, etc. for the processing of payments to Brian Hill Fine Art.

How do we use cookies?

We do not use cookies for tracking purposes.

Our website uses cookies only where necessary to give customers the full experience we have designed, and to allow us to analyse activity on the website. We are only able to see a general summary of visitor traffic, time spent, etc, we are not able to identify individual customers. Tracking cookies will only be enabled if you agree by clicking “ok”.
